We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Founding Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to build out our sales pipeline, lead new deals, actively engage with prospects and clients, and manage Powder's significant inbound sales funnel. As the founding member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in shaping our sales strategy and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Lead end-to-end sales processes, from initial contact through negotiation and close.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs and position Powder's solutions effectively.
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries and ensure timely follow-up and nurturing of leads.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and referenceability.
  • Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop tailored sales strategies and provide feedback to refine our offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demos to prospective clients.
  • Track and report on sales metrics and pipeline activities using CRM systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to inform our sales approach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM tools, preferably HubSpot, to manage and analyze sales activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • A tenacious attitude with a strong work ethic, and the grit to persevere, even in challenging situations.
  • Experience with financial services is a plus, either working in the industry or selling to financial advisors.
