Role Introduction

We're seeking a Sales Lead to drive revenue growth and build strategic relationships for our AI employee platform in the Australian market. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that target mid-size and enterprise organizations looking to enhance workplace productivity. As a key member of our commercial team, you'll manage complex sales cycles, lead a small sales team, and establish partnerships that accelerate our market presence. This role offers the opportunity to shape our sales methodology and drive business growth in an exciting startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market adoption of our AI employee platform across mid-size and enterprise accounts.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, strategic networking, and partnership leveraging.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial outreach through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and key decision makers to understand their needs and position our solution effectively.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align go-to-market strategies and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Create compelling business cases that clearly articulate the ROI and value proposition of our AI platform to prospective customers.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates on pipeline, activity metrics, and market intelligence to leadership.
  • Build, coach, and scale a high-performing sales team as the company grows, establishing effective processes and methodologies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and buyer needs to effectively position our solution in the market.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction and retention rates.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of mid-size and enterprise software sales experience, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated success selling SaaS, enterprise productivity tools, or AI solutions to large organizations.
  • Experience managing complex, high-value sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and lengthy decision processes.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments, buying processes, and implementation considerations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions to technical and business audiences.
  • Experience building and leading sales teams, including coaching and performance management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales productivity tools.
