Senior Product Engineer

TL;DR:

Permanent | Full-time | Vancouver, Canada | Hybrid work | $120-$160k (CAD) + profit share + equity

About you

About the role

We’re looking for someone who can immediately take ownership of building new functionality, engage with customers and refine current features based on our customers' needs.

What to expect:

• Work closely with customers, designers and engineering to understand problems in-depth.
• You’ll take ownership of what you build end-to-end, and will have a large influence in the products journey and direction.
• Build beautiful frontend UIs and backend services/APIs to create elegant solutions, that go beyond just solving the problem.
• Actively engage and collaborate with the team in person.
• Not your regular corporate job, you’ll wear all the hats 🎩.
• Experience with our tech stack is a head start but not essential.
• Ideally you’ve worked with scaled systems with lots of data.
• You’ll iterate a lot.
• We build using Typescript, NodeJS, VueJS, PixiJS, TailwindCSS, Cloud Run, WebSockets, Firestore, Firebase, Cloud Storage and Redis.

Pay range

$120,000-$160,000 CAD (based on talent)

+ profit share + equity

Location

• North Vancouver (5 min walk from Sea Bus), BC, Canada
• 3 in-office days every week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
• Hybrid & flexible work environment.
• This is not a fully remote job.
