Malaysian business owners can now join a fully organized 6-day, 5-night Business Immersion Trip to Guangzhou, China, taking place this 27th June to 1st July 2025.
The trip, centered around the 20th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF 2025), promises guaranteed exhibition space, high-level business matchmaking, and exclusive tours of China’s leading tech and industrial parks.
The best part is the entire CISMEF 2025 Business Mission is fully claimable under the MATRADE Market Development Grant (MDG), covering up to RM25,000 in expenses such as booth rental, airfare, accommodation, and participation fees.
About CISMEF 2025
Hosted by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and backed by provincial and municipal governments, CISMEF 2025 is expected to draw over 100,000 visitors, feature 3,600 exhibition booths, and include delegates from more than 70 countries.
It will be held at the Pazhou Exhibition Centre in Guangzhou, serving as a vital platform for SMEs to build partnerships and explore market opportunities in one of Asia’s most dynamic economic regions.
Last year, CISMEF 2024 hosted over 3,000 exhibitors, including more than 300 international enterprises from over 60 countries and regions. The event attracted over 100,000 in-person visitors and more than 1.35 million online attendees. Business deals and investment intentions during the four-day fair exceeded RMB10 billion, encompassing direct purchase orders, financing agreements, industrial collaborations, and investment commitments.

The Entire Trip
The entire trip, organized by GITP Asia includes five-nights stay in a 4-star hotel, daily breakfast and group lunches, airport transfers, and local group transportation. Participants also receive a 3m x 3m exhibition booth, complete with bilingual (English-Chinese) staff support, a table, chairs, power socket, and a printed backdrop.
A key element of the trip is curated business matchmaking, where delegates will engage with 80-100 pre-vetted Chinese enterprises in sessions organized by the Guangzhou government.
Additional highlights include visits to innovation hubs in Huangpu, Haizhu, and Panyu Districts—home to over 34,000 companies specializing in artificial intelligence, biotech, digital economy, and advanced manufacturing.
These visits, supported by local district governments, will feature roundtable meetings with tech and industrial firms, offering insights into collaboration opportunities.

Participation is priced at USD $3,500 per delegate (everything included), and is fully claimable under the MATRADE Market Development Grant.
